Jnana Prabodhini was founded in the old rented building where Late Appa Pendse was living, known as Parande Wada. Since this building has become old and has worn out over a period of time and existing building of JP is not sufficient to accommodate increasing activities day-by-day, a well equipped new building with modern facilities, rooted in the memorable past will be an ideal launching pad for the forthcoming expansion of J P.
